Chirag Paswan: A Beacon of Change in Bihar, Says PM Modi

In a recent public rally in Jamui, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the efforts of Chirag Paswan, the young leader from Bihar. Modi referred to Paswan as his “younger brother” and expressed satisfaction with the way he is taking forward the ideas of his late father, Ram Vilas Paswan.

“Bihar has always been a guiding light for the entire country,” said Modi, highlighting the influential role of the state in the nation’s journey. However, he also expressed concern over the fact that justice was not served to 5-6 generations of people in Bihar after independence.

The Prime Minister’s words come at a time when Bihar is witnessing significant changes under the leadership of Chirag Paswan. Following the demise of his father, Paswan has taken up the mantle and has been working relentlessly to realize his father’s vision for Bihar.

The endorsement from the Prime Minister is seen as a major boost for Paswan, who has been making concerted efforts to bring about a positive transformation in the state. It also signifies the central government’s commitment to aiding Bihar in its developmental journey.

However, Modi’s comments about the lack of justice for several generations in Bihar post-independence have stirred a debate. Some see it as an indirect criticism of the previous governments that have ruled Bihar and the country.

As the political landscape continues to evolve, the people of Bihar are hopeful that the combined efforts of the central and state governments will lead to a new era of development and prosperity in the state.
