PM Modi Launches Blistering Attack on Opposition in Amroha Rally, Accuses Them of Religious Insensitivity

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a charged public rally in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, unleashed a scathing critique of opposition parties, accusing them of harboring nepotism, corruption, and a lack of respect for religious sentiments.

During his address, PM Modi drew attention to what he perceived as a stark contrast between the values espoused by the ruling party and those exhibited by the opposition. He likened the opposition’s campaign to a rejected film shoot, suggesting that their narrative lacked resonance with the people of Uttar Pradesh.

Highlighting instances of alleged religious insensitivity, PM Modi criticized the Congress candidate from Amroha for struggling to articulate patriotic slogans. He condemned such behavior as reflective of a broader trend of disrespect towards the nation’s cultural ethos.

The Prime Minister also took aim at the opposition’s stance on the Ram temple in Ayodhya, accusing them of rejecting invitations to participate in temple ceremonies. He lamented what he described as their persistent denigration of Hindu faith and the sanctity of the Ram Mandir.

PM Modi expressed disappointment with the Samajwadi Party’s public condemnation of Lord Ram’s devotees as hypocrites, particularly during recent Ram Navami celebrations. He emphasized the need for political discourse to uphold religious tolerance and respect for diverse beliefs.

The Prime Minister’s impassioned remarks come amidst the buildup to crucial state elections, signaling the ruling party’s resolve to confront the opposition’s challenges head-on and secure electoral victory.
