Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at a public rally in Rajampet, Andhra Pradesh, expressed his strong disapproval of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) government.
Modi accused the YSRCP government of betraying the trust of the people of Andhra Pradesh. “The YSRCP government was elected with a lot of hope, but they have let you down,” he said. He further claimed that the YSRCP has been promoting the mafia, ignoring the development of the poor.
The Prime Minister also criticized a YSRCP Minister, accusing him of running a ‘Gunga Raaj’. “It’s clear to everyone,” he said, without specifying any names.
Modi issued a stern warning to the YSRCP and the mafias, stating, “The countdown has begun for the YSRCP government.” He assured that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will deal with these mafias effectively.
The Prime Minister’s comments come at a time when the YSRCP government is under scrutiny for various issues. The rally was part of the BJP’s campaign to expand its base in Andhra Pradesh.
The YSRCP has not yet responded to the Prime Minister’s remarks. With the political temperature in Andhra Pradesh rising, it will be interesting to see how the YSRCP responds to these charges.
