Union Minister Piyush Goyal Dismisses AAP’s Allegations in Swati Maliwal Assault Case

In a recent turn of events, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of being involved in the assault case of AAP MP Swati Maliwal. The allegations have stirred up a political storm, leading to a war of words between the two parties.

Union Minister and BJP candidate from Mumbai North Lok Sabha seat, Piyush Goyal, dismissed the allegations, questioning the credibility of AAP. “Who takes them (AAP) seriously?” he retorted when asked about the allegations. He further criticized AAP’s leader, Arvind Kejriwal, saying, “He came out of jail for a few days for campaigning and see what kind of things he is doing.”

The statement from Goyal comes amid the ongoing political tension between the BJP and AAP. The AAP has been vocal in its criticism of the BJP, accusing it of various wrongdoings. However, the BJP has consistently denied these allegations, dismissing them as political propaganda.

The assault case of Swati Maliwal has become a contentious issue, with AAP seeking to pin the blame on the BJP. However, the BJP maintains its innocence, with Goyal’s statement being the latest in a series of rebuttals from the party.

As the political drama unfolds, it remains to be seen how this will impact the relationship between the two parties and the political landscape of the country.
