Union Minister Piyush Goyal has lauded the BJP’s electoral success in Haryana, Maharashtra, and Delhi, calling it a “fitting response to the naysayers” who doubted the party’s dominance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
Speaking at an event in Pune, Goyal, who has roots in Haryana, Maharashtra, and Delhi, emphasized the significance of BJP’s win in these key states. “I’m a Mumbaikar, born and brought up and worked in Mumbai. I hail originally from a family from Haryana, and I live in Delhi now. In all three states, we’ve had elections, and the BJP has won all three with a resounding victory,” he said.
Highlighting the importance of progressive governance in Delhi, Goyal praised the newly elected Delhi CM Rekha Gupta, stating, “You cannot have a developed India without a developed capital. I have known Rekha Gupta and her work for a long time now. I believe in her leadership.”
His remarks come as BJP strengthens its presence across multiple states, reinforcing PM Modi’s vision of a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India).
