Mumbai — BJP MLA Ram Kadam launched a sharp attack on Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut over his recent comments on Operation Sindoor, questioning his political loyalty and accusing him of disrespecting India’s armed forces.
“Sharad Pawar must have caught him by the ears,” Kadam said mockingly. “On one hand, Raut has to take care of the Gandhi family, and on the other, Sharad Pawar. He doesn’t have a script of his own right now.”
Kadam strongly criticized Raut’s skepticism about Operation Sindoor, saying, “How can someone even question our forces? Have they lost their mind?” He went on to defend India’s military operations, warning against politicizing the nation’s security efforts.
Turning to the Veer Savarkar issue, Kadam questioned the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena faction’s silence when Rahul Gandhi made critical remarks about the freedom fighter. “What right does Uddhav Thackeray and his party have to speak on Savarkar? When Rahul Gandhi insulted Savarkar, why were they silent?” he asked.
The comments come amid a flurry of political statements following the recent Operation Sindoor, with parties locked in a war of narratives over national security, patriotism, and alliances.
