Kiren Rijiju Oversees Maharashtra BJP President Election Process in Mumbai

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju arrived in Mumbai on Wednesday to oversee the election process for the new Maharashtra BJP President and the party’s Rashtriya Parishad member. Serving as the appointed election officer, Rijiju provided an update on the proceedings.

“I have come to Mumbai for the election process of the new Maharashtra BJP President and BJP’s Rashtriya Parishad member,” Rijiju said while speaking to the media. He confirmed that 10 nomination papers have been submitted for the post of the state BJP President.

The scrutiny of these nominations is currently underway. Rijiju stated that the final list of eligible candidates will be released tomorrow, following due process. The announcement of the elected Maharashtra BJP President and the Rashtriya Parishad member will also be made by 5 PM tomorrow.

This election holds significance as the new leadership will play a key role in shaping the BJP’s strategy and outreach in Maharashtra ahead of upcoming local and national polls. The selection process is being conducted according to the BJP’s internal democratic framework, with a focus on transparency and party unity.
