MUMBAI – Union Minister and BJP candidate from Mumbai North Lok Sabha Seat, Piyush Goyal, has praised the efforts of two emerging leaders in the party, Annamalai and Madhavi Latha.
Goyal, in a recent statement, said, “Annamalai has expanded the BJP in Tamil Nadu. Madhavi Latha has displayed ‘Nari Shakti’ and has impacted the whole of Telangana. Both of them are emerging leaders in the BJP. I am grateful to them for the support they have given in North Mumbai.”
Annamalai, a former IPS officer, has been instrumental in expanding the BJP’s presence in Tamil Nadu, a state where the party has traditionally struggled to make inroads. His efforts have not gone unnoticed, with Goyal acknowledging his contribution to the party’s growth.
Similarly, Madhavi Latha, an actress turned politician, has made a significant impact in Telangana. Her work, described as ‘Nari Shakti’ by Goyal, has been influential in shaping the party’s presence in the state.
Goyal’s comments come ahead of a rally by the Prime Minister, which he believes will ensure a clean sweep for the BJP in Mumbai. “Today’s rally of the PM will ensure that all 6 seats of Mumbai are won by the BJP,” he said.
The BJP’s focus on Mumbai comes as no surprise, given the city’s political significance. Winning all six seats would be a significant achievement for the party and would underscore the impact of leaders like Annamalai and Madhavi Latha.
As the political landscape continues to evolve, the contributions of these emerging leaders will undoubtedly play a crucial role in shaping the future of the BJP.
