In a bid to reassure commuters amidst recent disruptions, Swapnil Dhanraj Nila, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of Central Railway, Mumbai, has affirmed that stringent measures have been implemented to maintain uninterrupted services across both the mainline and harbour line.
Addressing the media, Nila confirmed that despite challenges faced at Nahur and Chunabhatti stations on the Harbour Line, services have swiftly returned to normalcy. He emphasized that all local train services are now operating as per their regular schedules.
“We have taken multiple precautions,” stated Nila, underscoring the proactive steps taken by Central Railway to mitigate the impact of disruptions. Key among these measures is the deployment of additional manpower from the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and the commercial department. These personnel have been strategically positioned to assist in crowd management and to ensure the prevention of any untoward incidents.

Nila assured the public that the situation has been swiftly addressed, attributing the quick restoration of services to the concerted efforts of railway staff and authorities.
Central Railway’s prompt response and effective management of the disruptions reflect their commitment to maintaining the smooth functioning of Mumbai’s vital commuter rail network. As Mumbai continues to rely heavily on local train services for daily commute, such assurances from railway authorities are crucial in maintaining public confidence and ensuring the efficient operation of transportation services across the city.
