Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has announced a people-centric budget aimed at fostering inclusive growth across various segments of society. Highlighting key provisions, Shinde outlined significant financial support for women, youth, farmers, and students in the state.

In a statement, CM Shinde affirmed, “This budget is going to take forward all the people including women, youth, farmers, and laborers.” The budget allocates Rs. 1500 directly to women’s bank accounts, aimed at empowering them economically. Additionally, a substantial initiative includes providing Rs. 10,000 for youth apprenticeships, benefiting 10 lakh young individuals statewide.

A pivotal component of the budget focuses on agricultural reforms, with 50 lakh farmers set to benefit from free electricity. This measure aims to alleviate financial burdens and enhance agricultural productivity across Maharashtra. Furthermore, the budget emphasizes educational opportunities for girls, ensuring free education to foster greater access and inclusivity in the state’s education system.

The comprehensive budget underscores the government’s commitment to equitable development and socio-economic welfare. By targeting key demographics such as women, youth, and farmers, CM Shinde aims to catalyze growth and prosperity across Maharashtra.

As stakeholders and analysts assess the implications of the budget, its emphasis on empowerment and support for marginalized groups reflects a strategic approach towards achieving sustainable development goals in the state.
