Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and the 2024 Union Budget, highlighting its inclusive nature and substantial allocations for welfare schemes benefiting Maharashtra. Speaking in Mumbai, Shinde credited PM Modi for addressing the needs of farmers, women, and youth through the budget’s provisions.
“PM Modi has ensured justice for farmers, women, and youth through this inclusive budget,” Shinde affirmed. He emphasized the significant financial support allocated to various welfare schemes aimed at improving the lives of Maharashtra’s residents.
Shinde underscored the budget’s role in laying a robust foundation for national development, stating, “This budget sets the stage for comprehensive development across the nation.” He pointed out that Maharashtra stands to benefit greatly from the budgetary allocations, which are expected to bolster infrastructure, social welfare, and economic growth in the state.
Reflecting on his government’s performance over the past two years, Shinde expressed confidence in securing victory in the upcoming Vidhan Sabha elections. “Based on our governance record, we are poised to win the elections, and the Mahayuti government will continue to serve Maharashtra,” he declared, referring to the alliance of political parties supporting his administration.
