Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde Responds to Corruption Allegations by Opposition

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has robustly defended his government against recent allegations of corruption leveled by the opposition. Addressing the accusations during a public statement, CM Shinde dismissed the claims as politically motivated attempts to undermine the achievements of the Mahayuti government.

“Since our Mahayuti government came into power, the opposition has consistently struggled to accept the new political landscape. We are committed to responding to these allegations with our diligent work,” stated Chief Minister Shinde.

Refuting accusations of malfeasance, CM Shinde emphasized, “They have no grounds to accuse us of wrongdoing. We have restarted stalled development projects that were neglected by the previous administration. Their persistent attempts to tarnish our reputation will not deter us.”

CM Shinde also hinted at addressing the allegations at an appropriate time. “I will not engage in responding to these allegations today. There will be a time when we will address this matter comprehensively,” he asserted.

Highlighting the accomplishments of the Mahayuti government, CM Shinde pointed to tangible achievements that have benefited the state. “The public has witnessed the transformative initiatives undertaken by our government. They will judge us based on our performance and will support us in the upcoming Assembly elections,” he declared.
