In a resolute stance against the drug menace plaguing Maharashtra, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has issued a stern directive aimed at eliminating drug suppliers operating near educational institutions, social hubs, and public places across the state. The Chief Minister’s declaration underscores the government’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding youth and communities from the pernicious impact of drug trafficking.

During a press briefing in Mumbai, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde affirmed, “All the drug suppliers and structures facilitating drug supply near schools, colleges, pubs, and other areas have been targeted for immediate action.” He emphasized the severity of the issue, vowing stringent measures against those involved in drug trafficking and its detrimental effects on the youth.

“No one will be spared who ruins the youth through drugs,” asserted Chief Minister Shinde, underscoring the government’s determination to root out the drug network not only from Pune but from the entire expanse of Maharashtra. The announcement comes amid growing concerns over the rise in drug-related incidents and their impact on societal well-being.

The directive to crack down on drug suppliers near educational and social establishments is part of a broader strategy to enhance public safety and curb the spread of illicit substances. Chief Minister Shinde’s proactive approach aims to disrupt the supply chains that fuel drug abuse and addiction, thereby safeguarding vulnerable segments of society.

Acknowledging the gravity of the situation, Chief Minister Shinde assured swift and decisive action, promising comprehensive enforcement measures to dismantle drug networks operating in proximity to places frequented by youth and communities.

The Maharashtra government’s initiative reflects a concerted effort to uphold law and order while prioritizing the welfare of its citizens, particularly the younger generation vulnerable to substance abuse. By targeting drug suppliers and structures facilitating drug trade, the government seeks to create safer environments conducive to personal and societal well-being.

As the enforcement efforts intensify, stakeholders and the public anticipate tangible outcomes in the ongoing battle against drugs, reaffirming Maharashtra’s commitment to ensuring a drug-free future for its residents.
