Mumbai: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has expressed strong support for the Indian Armed Forces following the initiation of #OperationSindoor. Speaking on the ongoing operation, Shinde assured that India is fully prepared to respond decisively to any threats.
“We have launched Operation Sindoor, and it has just begun. Our armed forces will give a befitting reply,” said Shinde. He emphasized the state’s readiness and announced a high-level meeting to discuss security measures.
“Maharashtra is fully alert, and we will take all necessary steps to ensure the safety of our people. It is our responsibility to keep the citizens of Maharashtra secure,” he added, reiterating that Indian forces would not tolerate any aggression or attacks from Pakistan.
The statement comes amid rising tensions along the border, with the state government working closely with national security agencies to ensure peace and stability. The meeting called by Shinde will focus on strengthening local security measures and reinforcing preparedness in the face of potential threats.
