Maharashtra Leaders Pay Tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on His 135th Birth Anniversary at Chaityabhoomi

On the occasion of the 135th birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Maharashtra’s top political leaders gathered at Chaityabhoomi in Mumbai to pay their respects to the architect of the Indian Constitution.

Governor of Maharashtra, CP Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, along with other prominent leaders, offered floral tributes at Dr. Ambedkar’s memorial. The leaders paid homage to the social reformer, jurist, and champion of equality, reflecting on his immense contributions to the nation’s progress.

In his speech, CM Fadnavis highlighted Ambedkar’s legacy in shaping India’s democratic ideals and his unwavering fight for social justice. “Dr. Ambedkar’s vision continues to guide us in our pursuit of a just and inclusive society,” Fadnavis said.

Deputy CM Shinde also remembered Ambedkar’s relentless struggle for the rights of marginalized communities, while Ajit Pawar called for continued efforts to strengthen the values of equality and social justice that Ambedkar instilled in the Constitution.

The event saw thousands of people, including followers and social activists, gather at Chaityabhoomi, where Dr. Ambedkar was cremated, to celebrate his life and work on this momentous day.
