Maharashtra Minister and state BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule has outlined the schedule for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Nagpur, emphasizing key events and ensuring the smooth organization of the visit.
Bawankule confirmed that PM Modi’s trip will include participation in a program at Madhav Netralaya, a prominent eye hospital in the region. Following this, the Prime Minister will visit the memorial of Dr. Hedgewar, the founder of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), and later proceed to Deekshabhoomi, a significant site for Buddhists in India, where Dr. B.R. Ambedkar converted to Buddhism in 1956.
“The program for which PM Modi is coming is of Madhav Netralaya, he will also visit Hedgewar ji and then go to Deekshabhoomi… We are working to ensure that the Prime Minister’s visit is good,” Bawankule said, underscoring the importance of the visit in promoting various initiatives and connecting with local communities.
The visit is expected to be a significant event for the state, with the BJP aiming to showcase the Prime Minister’s engagement with important cultural and historical landmarks in Nagpur. Bawankule assured that all necessary preparations were being made to ensure a successful and smooth visit for the Prime Minister.
