Mumbai: BJP leader Ram Kadam has strongly defended the central government’s stand on national security, especially in light of the ongoing Operation Sindoor debate in Parliament. Speaking to the media, Kadam emphasized the importance of unity and responsibility when discussing critical national operations.
“The entire Opposition has the right to deliberate in the parliamentary session and also raise questions. They can give positive suggestions to the government,” Kadam said. However, he expressed concern over the tone adopted by some Opposition leaders, questioning whether they consider Operation Sindoor to be a “tamasha” (spectacle).
Referring to the operation’s significance, he said, “The terrorists who snatched the sindoor from our mothers and sisters — our army entered their homes and eliminated them. This is a strong government running under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.”
Kadam urged all parties to rise above politics when it comes to national security and recognize the sacrifices made by the armed forces.
