Telangana – Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a public rally here, drew a stark contrast between the blockbuster Telugu film “RRR” and what he termed as the “RR tax” imposed by the Telangana Congress.
The Prime Minister lauded the Telugu film industry for producing the superhit film “RRR”, which has not only been a massive hit in India but has also gained fame worldwide. However, he expressed concern over the so-called “RR tax” that he claims the Telangana Congress has imposed on the people of the state.
“RRR made India famous in the world, but the RR tax is proving to be shameful for India,” Modi said, addressing the crowd. He further alleged that industrialists and contractors in Telangana are being forced to pay a part of the RR tax “from the backdoor.”
The Prime Minister claimed that a significant portion of the money collected from this RR tax is being sent to Delhi in the form of black money. This allegation, if proven, could have serious implications for the Telangana Congress.
The rally was part of the Prime Minister’s campaign tour in the state. The comments on the RR tax have sparked a new debate on the state’s taxation policies and their impact on the common people and businesses.
The Telangana Congress has yet to respond to the Prime Minister’s allegations. As the political temperature in the state heats up, the people of Telangana await a clarification on the matter.
