Mumbai, India – Ujjwal Nikam, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) candidate from the Mumbai North Central Lok Sabha seat, has recently praised the efforts of the Modi government in enhancing India’s global image and reforming outdated laws.
In a public address, Nikam stated, “The image of India that Prime Minister Modi has created across the world is commendable. Today, no one can call our country a ‘Banana’ nation.” He lauded the Prime Minister for his relentless efforts in promoting India’s stature on the global stage.
Nikam also highlighted the role of the Home Minister in initiating necessary legal reforms. “The Home Minister has made it clear in the Parliament that old laws need to be changed, and he has indeed changed a lot of them,” he said.
The BJP candidate emphasized the importance of rule of law for achieving ‘Ram Rajya’, a term often used to describe an ideal and just state. “Ram Rajya cannot be attained until there is the rule of law amongst the people,” Nikam asserted.
Expressing his desire to contribute to the Modi government’s initiatives, Nikam said, “I also thought that I should contribute to the steps taken by the Modi government.” He acknowledged that he could no longer serve as a prosecutor in his cases but expressed his willingness to request the government’s intervention if necessary.
Nikam’s statements come at a time when the BJP is gearing up for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. His remarks reflect the party’s confidence in its governance and its commitment to legal reform and rule of law.
