Union Minister Ramdas Athawale Highlights Women’s Welfare Schemes Ahead of Women’s Day

Union Minister Ramdas Athawale emphasized the significance of March 8, International Women’s Day, while discussing the impact of women-centric welfare schemes initiated by the Maharashtra government.

Athawale praised the Ladli Behna Yojana, launched under the leadership of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and acknowledged its role in strengthening the government. He stated,

“The way Ladli Behna Yojana was started under the leadership of Eknath Shinde had a huge benefit in forming our government. Then Eknath Shinde had said that we will give Rs 2,100 per month to women.”

The Ladli Behna Yojana aims to provide financial assistance to women, empowering them economically and improving their standard of living. The initiative is part of the government’s broader agenda to support women’s welfare, financial independence, and social security.

With Women’s Day approaching, the Maharashtra government is expected to highlight ongoing and upcoming initiatives focused on women’s empowerment, employment, and entrepreneurship.
