PM Modi also took the opportunity to highlight his government’s initiatives for the fishing community. “It is Modi who made a separate ministry for the fisheries department,” he said, emphasizing his government’s commitment to addressing the needs of the fishing community.
In addition to the establishment of a separate ministry, the Modi government has also introduced the Kisan Credit Card for the fishermen. This initiative is aimed at providing financial support to the fishing community and empowering them.
