Shiv Sena Leader Rahul Shewale Accuses Shiv Sena (UBT) of Insulting Hindutva and Criticizes Congress for Pro-China Stance

Shiv Sena leader Rahul Shewale has launched a sharp attack on the Shiv Sena (UBT) faction, accusing them of undermining Hindutva and its values. Shewale specifically criticized Sanjay Raut, a senior leader from the UBT camp, for allegedly insulting Hindutva and its associated festivals. He also took a swipe at Raut’s brother for insulting the Maha Kumbh Mela, calling it an offense to the 50 crore Hindus who attended the event.

In a statement, Shewale remarked, “Shiv Sena (UBT) has always tried to insult Hindutva. Sanjay Raut has insulted Hindutva and its festivals, and his brother has insulted Maha Kumbh, which is an insult to the 50 crore Hindus who visited there. Sanjay Raut should have gone to wash off the sins of leaving Bala Saheb Thackeray’s ideology and allying with Congress.”

Shewale further emphasized the significance of the Mahayuti alliance, calling it a strong bond forged by the ideologies of Bala Saheb Thackeray and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He stressed that the alliance is not just about political power but also about upholding Hindutva and Dharma, calling it a “fevicol bond.”

The Shiv Sena leader also reacted to remarks made by Congress leader Sam Pitroda regarding China. Shewale accused Congress of being pro-China, citing Rahul Gandhi’s recent speech in Parliament, which he claimed resembled the stance of a Chinese spokesperson. He condemned the Congress for what he termed an anti-national stance, saying, “Congress is playing the role of China’s supporters, and this is anti-national.”

The political rhetoric highlights ongoing tensions within Maharashtra’s political landscape, particularly between factions of Shiv Sena and the Congress party. As these controversies unfold, it remains to be seen how they will shape the state’s political dynamics, especially with elections on the horizon.
