Architect of the Indian Constitution

Dr B.R. Ambedkar, widely known as Babasaheb, was the chief architect of the Indian Constitution and served as independent Indiaโ€™s first Law and Justice Minister. His role in shaping modern Indiaโ€™s legal and democratic framework remains unparalleled.


Champion of Social Equality

Born into a Dalit Mahar family in present-day Madhya Pradesh, Dr Ambedkar dedicated his life to fighting for the rights of marginalized communities. He is widely regarded as a pioneering leader in the movement for social equality and justice in India.


Legacy That Continues to Inspire

Dr Ambedkar passed away on December 6, 1956, leaving behind a lasting legacy of reform and empowerment. In recognition of his contributions, he was posthumously awarded the Bharat Ratna in 1990.
